Time to load up the Rapidographs and get to inking the new book! All the pencils are done for my first full-length autobiographic comic essay Beyond Paper Walls: an Exploration of the Spaces Between a Real and Imagined Japan. The printing will begin at the end of August with Krakenprint, a Chicago-based off-set printer, and it has been funded by the City of Chicago’s Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events Individual Artists Grant.
